220 amp alternator to suit V8 VDJ Landcruisers. These are a great solution for vehicles with large electrical loads. Combined with the idle up feature on the FreezeBrain module and the alternator booster diode and you'll be able to charge at over 100 amps at idle!
We fit these to all our mine-spec builds.
These alternators are plug and play but any extra loads should be connected to the alternator B+ post and not at the vehicle battery. Connecting at the battery can cause the factory 150 amp main fuse to blow. Any extra loads connected to the alternator should have their own fusing.
